School leadership and development
This is a rare and early account of education written from the direct experience of head teacher. To my knowledge this thesis is the only one on the subject. Scarcity confers a huge value on it but it was also a worthwhile research that demonstrates some headmasters of that period were sophisticated enough to think far ahead of their times. There are not many comparable documents left from that period. A history of modern education cannot be built without preserving document such as this by Lyonpo Zangley Dukpa. His book also deals with many essential topics that are routinely discussed today in different guises in the life of a principal and in the Ministry of Education in its efforts to improve curriculum, pedagogy and assessment.
